A FIRST LOOK
What does Freemasonry mean at our lodge?
At Philanthropic 304, Freemasonry brings together regular lodge meetings, social friendship, traditions and charitable activity. Joining means becoming part of a continuing group of people, with a meeting schedule and shared responsibilities.
Our membership guide helps you make an informed choice: it explains who can apply, our ten meetings a year at the North Leeds Masonic Centre, the current £150 annual subscription and the questions to ask about other costs.
See examples of our community work
Our published reports record £1,998 raised for Battle Scars in Leeds and £2,500 towards Settle Cricket Club’s practice nets. Each story identifies the particular contribution and provides context, rather than treating all charitable support as the same kind of funding.
You can also explore our history from the first meeting at the Crown Inn in 1794 and meet some of the members who help organise the lodge today.
